The Tamalpais High School District is looking for candidates to join the Citizens Oversight Committee for Measure B!

Specifically, they are looking for:

• Member of the business community within the district
• Two "at-large" committee members within the district

Tam District is made up of five schools; Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley; Redwood, Tamiscal and San Andreas High Schools in Larkspur, and Archie Williams High School in San Anselmo, serving students across multiple towns and cities in Marin. 

The voters recently passed Measure B, a $289M bond measure to upgrade and improve facilities at our schools. A condition of that ballot measure is the establishment of a Citizens' Oversight Committee, who's membership would include a member of the business community within the district.

There are five required roles that make up a COC (a business community member, a parent/guardian of a current student, a parent/guardian of a current student who is also a member of a parent teacher organization, a member of a bone fide taxpayer organization and a member of a senior citizen's organization).  The committee also has space for two "at-large" members.
